Description
A mildly hot chile powder with a sweet and slightly raisin-like taste. Ancho Chile Powder comes from the poblano chile pepper and measures between 1,000 and 1,500 Scoville Heat Units. A bit smoky, it’s a welcome addition to stews and soups, as well as any chocolate dessert. Also great for rubs, spice blends, and chile con carne or blitzed with a bit of butter and rubbed onto grilled ears of corn!
